FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hancor has one of the top 50 products of 2004
Findlay, Ohio – February 3, 2005: Hancor’s Storm Water Quality Unit has been selected as one of the top 50 new products of 2004 by Better Roads magazine. Each year Better Roads magazine announces their selection of innovative new products to the industry in categories such as heavy equipment, road safety items, materials, and chemicals.
“Investment into the advancement and innovation of new products is very important and we want to recognize the top achievements,” said Jim Morrissey, Managing Partner, Better Roads. “We would like to congratulate Hancor on being a manufacturer of a top product this year.”
Editors review and select the 50 most significant new products to the road construction and maintenance industry. They seek out products that advance technology or increase competition by providing an alternative to existing products. These products are judged on the relevance to highway professionals, contractors, agencies and consulting engineers.
Hancor’s Storm Water Quality Unit is one of these top products. This unit has two available models; one design provides the essential filtration of solids, while the second module provides higher levels of filtration and oil separation. This product helps municipalities meet EPA Phase II storm water runoff guideline requirements.
“Hancor is honored to receive this award, it is a great achievement,” said Bill Altermatt, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Hancor. “We believe in offering our customers quality, innovative products and our Storm Water Quality Unit is no exception.”
Better Roads’ top 50 rollouts are featured in their December issue. Better Roads magazine serves the information needs of governments and construction contractors involved in Federal, State, County, City and Township highway, road and bridge construction, winter maintenance, roadside and vegetation management and other highway-related projects.
